As in the original installments of the series of Pokemon games from portable consoles, in Pokémon GO we are offered three « starting » creatures, from which we have to choose one. Pokémon GO – how to get Pikachu?
When we start the game for the first time and create a character, we immediately see three Pokemon on the map. They are Squirtle (water type), Charmander (fire type) and Bulbasaur (grass type). Click on one of them, throw a Poke Ball and catch the first creature, thus starting the proper adventure.
Players have already realized that there is a way to get another starting Pokemon – the famous Pikachu.
Pokémon GO – how to get Pikachu
It only takes a little patience to catch Pikachu. The way is simple – when we start the game and see Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur, just walk around them.
When we ignore the basic starter Pokemon, they will appear again later, but again you have to avoid them and not catch any. Repeat this action for several times (sometimes three, sometimes five or six), and finally we will see Pikachu on the map.
The yellow creature will stand next to the three known Pokemon. Just pick it and grab it. However, it should be remembered that the remaining starters will disappear. Catching them will not be so easy – although we should meet them later relatively quickly. However, they will not approach us on their own.
Pikachu is an electric type Pokemon.
How to catch a wild Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Pikachu
When we decide on one of the starting creatures, the rest disappear and then we have to get them just like other wild Pokemon.
Recall – look for Water-type Pokemon near water and reservoirs. A great chance of finding fire creatures occurs in the vicinity of housing estates and in the suburbs, and Grass Pokemons can be found in parks, forests, and large playgrounds.
You should also regularly check the tab with nearby Pokemon, located in the lower right corner of the screen. We can see figures of creatures that are in our area, which may be helpful.
